The copyright to all of the photos (Content) on this site is owned by Greg Pak and managed by Pak Man Productions, LTD. (PMP). When you make a purchase, you are entering an agreement with PMP that grants you a non-exclusive, limited license for editorial use only of the Content.

Photos licensed for editorial use only can only be used for news reporting, review and criticism, educational materials, and documentary.

Editorial use does not allow for commercial use — so these photos cannot be used for advertising, promotion, marketing, packaging or merchandising. You can’t make mugs or t-shirts using these images or use them to create trademarks, for example, and you cannot use them for book covers. The photos may be cropped or otherwise edited, but must not be altered to affect editorial integrity or the truth of the situation depicted.

The Content on this website is priced for independent journalists, independent bloggers, and independent news outlets. Journalists and news outlets working for or owned by billionaires or large corporations are subject to different prices – please contact shop at gregpak dot com for pricing if this applies to you.

All of the photos on this site are licensed for one user only. If you are purchasing for an employer or client, your employer or client may use the Content according to this license.

The license allows for unlimited web usage across websites and social media platforms and for print publication of up to 50,000 copies.

The license for each photo is intended for use with a single article or publication. For use with multiple articles or publications, please buy additional licenses.

All uses of the Content must be accompanied by the credit “Photo by Greg Pak / gregpak.photo.” Optionally, links to the Bluesky account @gregpak.net and the Instagram account @gregpaknet may be included.

Content may not be altered with “A.i.” or fed into or used to train “A.i.” databases. You may not use the Content to make Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

You may not use the Content in any way that is slanderous, defamatory, obscene, illegal, deceptive, harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, espousing hatred or bias against LGBQT people, or in any way that promotes bigotry or threatens any group or individual with physical harm.

If Pak Man Productions in its reasonable discretion determines you have violated the terms of this contract, it will revoke the license and you must remove the content from your digital platforms and not make any more copies of the content in physical form.

Restricted Uses

  1. No Unlawful Use. You may not use content in a pornographic, defamatory or other unlawful manner, to promote violence or hatred, or in violation of any applicable regulations or industry codes.
  2. No Commercial Use of “Editorial Use Only” Content. You may not use content marked “editorial use only” for any commercial, promotional, advertorial, endorsement, advertising, gambling/betting/gaming uses or merchandising purpose. This type of content is not model or property released and is primarily intended to be used for editorial purposes, meaning descriptive purposes such as news reporting and discussion of current events or other human interest topics (for example, in a blog, textbook, newspaper or magazine article).
  3. No Standalone File Use. You may not use content in any way that allows others to download, extract, or redistribute content as a standalone file (meaning just the content file itself, separate from the project or end use).
  4. No Use in Trademark or Logo. You may not use content (in whole or in part) as the distinctive or distinguishing feature of a trademark, design mark, tradename, business name, service mark or logo. Additionally, you shall not be entitled to register (in any jurisdiction) such content (in whole or in part) as a trademark or rely on any such registrations, prior use, and/or accrued goodwill to prevent any third party use of the content or any similar content (including by us, our customers, or the copyright owner of such content).
  5. No False Representation of Authorship. You may not falsely represent that you are the original creator of an end use that is made up largely of licensed content. For instance, you cannot create a painting based solely on licensed content and claim that you are the author.
